Makkala Rose is a New Zealand born and New York based artist tattooing since 2013, creating richly detailed botanical tattoos and artwork for her clients
The natural world is the bedrock of her style; inspired by the beauty of nature and its symbolism capturing florals, botanicals, fruit, birds, pet portraits, as well as other animals and insects as one of a kind tattoos in her own distinct way. She particularly loves to create floral bouquets based around 'mood' evoking briefs with ideas such as delicate, whimsical, deep, luxurious, antique, soft etc. She carefully selects and arranges various elements of her designs to create not only a beautiful tattoo for her recipient but one layered with complexity. she would love to bring your ideas to life!
